I) The Vision

A) Lawyers

• Are proud to work at our firm
• They get paid well to do legal work that keeps them intellectually stimulated
• They don’t stay because of the money; they stay because of how we treat them
• Their input is heard
• They get to be the lawyers they wanted to be but couldn’t be at prior firms
• They work reasonable hours - that doesn’t necessarily mean a 9-5, but it definitely doesn’t involve BigLaw hours on a regular basis
• Are able to explore passions outside of work, including side businesses (whether in law or otherwise). We know this makes them better lawyers
• We prioritize our lawyers over our clients, in the event of conflicts or other issues. That may seem odd (given that you are paying us to work for you), but that’s how we operate
• We do not put up with people who do not align with our values, regardless of their monetary value to the firm

B) Clients

• We treat clients the way we would want to be treated as clients
  • We bill fairly and with a heads-up on unexpected fees (where possible)
  • We leverage tech and good processes as much as possible
  • We check-in with them regularly, to see how we can improve
  • We provide top quality legal services
  • We don’t overlawyer; we provide practical solutions
• We find ways to help clients, beyond just providing legal services
• We are, in many cases, the first lawyers they’ve actually enjoyed working with

C) The Firm

• We are a leading tech, regulatory, and corporate boutique, as well as a leading AI and crypto/blockchain boutique
• We are a shining example of how a law firm should be run. All the things that consultants have been saying for decades that law firms should do - we do those things
